Newly founded company, Filibaba is pleased to release its first iPad app, Veggie Meals, with 55 easy to cook meals. The app suits everybody who wants to cook vegetarian or vegan food from scratch, with ingredients that are easy to find. The recipes in Veggie Meals contain excellent sources of protein based on common ingredients, from a long tradition of vegetarian cooking.
“An app is a convenient and fun way of discovering and cooking new food, but it’s difficult to get an overview on iPhone. When iPad was announced I realized the potential”, says Jenny Sunden, initiator of the app and Filibaba’s founder.
The app is beautifully designed with gorgeous pictures and graphic details, which makes it easy to get an overview while cooking. It is available in English and Swedish, with US cups and Fahrenheit in addition to standard measurements. Veggie Meals is Filibaba’s first recipe app, but there are plans for both more recipe directions and clever features. Filibaba wants to make it easier to cook simple and good food with iPad in the kitchen.
“Many people who consumes content at home selects iPad over a PC or laptop”, says Max Rudberg, graphical designer and co-founder of Filibaba.
Filibaba’s vision is that more people will choose to eat vegetarian on a regular basis. The objective is to offer more tasteful, convenient and finely crafted apps.
“It feels great that the cookbook now becomes an app, so that more people can easily cook good vegetarian food”, says Viktor Sunden, the author of the book.
